  • Students: In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, TODAY, May 16th during lunch, visit one of the tables for a little surprise, in the quadrangle to learn about community resources and services available to you.
  • Students: The Powder Puff Football Game will be TODAY, May 16th at Eagle Stadium. The game will start at 4:30.
  • Students: The Jazz Band concert is TONIGHT, May 16th at 7PM in the Performing Arts Center.
  • Students: All library books were due last week. It’s not too late! Make sure you turn in your library books TODAY. Failure to turn them in will add your name to the obligation list. An obligation can keep you from walking the stage at graduation and participating in school day activities.
  • Students: The Academic Award Ceremony will be WEDNESDAY, May 18th at the Performing Arts Center.
  • Seniors: Do you still need your cap and gown? Please stop by the front office to see Mrs. Higginbotham, a Principal or one of the Counselors in the Counseling Office.
  • Seniors: Do you have a painted parking space? Don’t forget all spaces must be completely painted black by May 18th. See Mrs. Kaiser with any questions.

  • PHS Club Officers: Don’t forget the Officer Leaders’ Dinner TONIGHT, May 17th at 6PM. Marek sure to wear your club shirt!
  • Students: The Academic Award Ceremony will be TOMORROW, May 18th at the Performing Arts Center.
  • National Honor Society:  All newly inducted Sophomore and all junior members of NHS are required to attend the meeting on THURSDAY, May 19th during FOCUS in the library to elect officers for the 2022-2023 school year. Seniors should NOT attend. 
  • Seniors: Do you still need your cap and gown? Please stop by the front office to see Mrs. Higginbotham or a Principal, Mrs. Kaiser in room 308 or one of the Counselors in the Counseling Office.
  • Seniors: Did you earn an honor cord through PHS to wear at graduation? Please see Mrs. Higginbotham in the front office to pick up your cord.

  • Juniors and Sophomores: The CTE department has several employment opportunities available for the 22-23 school year.  These jobs are designed to allow students to learn valuable skill in high demand industries.  Positions are available in technology as well as the trades industries of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping. You will work 2 class periods during the school day and do not need transportation.  Scan the QR code outside of room 507 for the online application.
  • Junior and Sophomores: Do you enjoy working with young kids and need a job? The Beyond the Bell program is now taking applications for student workers for the 22-23 school year. Work hours are 3:15 to 6pm at the Primary School Campus. Scan the QR code outside of room 507 for the online application.
  • Students: Do you have items in the Nurse’s Office? Make sure to see Nurse Salinas before the last day of school.

  • Congratulations to the 2022-2023 PHS Student Council Officers…President Matthew Smith, Vice President Libby Sanchez, Secretary Paige David, Treasurer Maddie Brymer and Historian Brylee Miller.
  • Students: The Academic Award Ceremony is TONIGHT, May 18th at the Performing Arts Center. The 9th through 11th grade ceremony will start at 6 PM, then the senior ceremony will start at  7:30 PM. Appropriate dress is required, Sunday best is suggested.
