  •    Mr. Portillo would like to send a shout out to Coach Everett for his work with his students during Focus!  He is providing opportunities for his students to            learn more and is providing the extra help for students who need it!!  Thank you Coach Everett for all that you do!  When you see Coach Everett, give him a high five!!
  • Members of the mighty eagle band competed in region band auditions on Saturday. They played individually and were ranked against students from other schools. 20 students earned a spot in one of the 2 all-region bands.

  • Students, student council invites you to count down to Christmas break by dressing up the week of December 12-16.  Monday – Christmas Best, wear your dressy clothes, Christmas ties and dresses. Tuesday is the Christmas sweater contest during lunch. Wear a Christmas sweater and come to the stage during your lunch for a chance to win.  Wednesday is Christmas character day, dress as your favorite Christmas character, Thursday is Winter Wonderland, bundle up in your scarves, beanies and warm clothes and Friday wear Christmas pajama pants and onesies.  Remember you must follow dress code each day.
  • Everyone is invited to the Mighty Eagle Band Christmas concert! It will be on today Monday, December 5th at 7pm at the Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.
  • There will be a Golf Meeting Wed December 7th at 7:15 am in the new gym classroom.
  • Students, please come check the lost and found for missing jackets, hoodies, bags, etc.  It is overflowing. Any items left over at the end of the semester will be donated at Christmas break.
  • Students:  Don't forget to log in to your RTI Scheduler to choose your Focus classes.  Choose courses that will make you a better student.  You may need intervention with a teacher or an enrichment class.  This is your chance to take ownership of your learning.
