Pledges

Announcements

  • Seniors: Do you still need your cap and gown? Please stop by the front office or the Counseling Office.
  • Seniors: Did you earn an honor cord through PHS to wear at graduation? Please see Mrs. Higginbotham or Mrs. Carrasco in the front office to pick up your cord.
  • Seniors: TOMORROW, May 24th, you will take your Cap and Gown panoramic at 1:45 in the Sports Complex (the new gym). You must bring your cap/gown AND be in dress code, to include shaved faces, haircuts and no facial piercings. If you are not in dress code, you will not be allowed to participate.
  • Also Seniors: After the cap and gown panoramic, you may participate in the Senior Walk, where you will visit one of the lower campuses to walk their halls for those students to celebrate and recognize all your achievements!
  • Seniors: Go into your Class of 2022 google classroom to select breakfast for the morning graduation practice on May 27th.
  • Students: On WEDNESDAY, May 25th, you will have final exams for even class periods with lunch 2, 4, 5, 6, focus and 8. On THURSDAY, May 26th, you will have final exams for odd class periods 1, 3, and 7. The bell schedule will change for these two days, check your schedule, you don’t want to be late! 
  • Students: THURSDAY, May 26th is an early release day. School will end a 11:55on Thursday. If you ride the bus, you need to go to the cafeteria to wait for bus pick up at 12:20. The cafeteria will provide lunch. All other students are free to leave at 11:55 or after you eat lunch.
  • Students: Make sure to see Nurse Salinas for medicines and items, before the last day of school, THURSDAY, May 26th.
  • Juniors and Sophomores: The CTE department has several employment opportunities available for the 22-23 school year.  These jobs are designed for students to learn valuable skill in high demand industries.  Positions are available in technology, as well as the trades industries of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping. You are required to work 2 class periods during the school day and do not need transportation.  Scan the QR code outside of room 507 for the online application.
  • Junior and Sophomores: Do you enjoy working with young kids and need a job? The Beyond the Bell program is now taking applications for student workers for the 22-23 school year. Work hours are 3:15 to 6 PM at the Primary School Campus. Scan the QR code outside of room 507 for the online application.
  • Career Prep Students: Stop by room 507 to pick up your Career Prep Application Packet from Mrs. K. Harris. It is important you have secured your job before the first day of school on August 9th. Also Career Prep students look for the invite to join the 22-23 Career Prep google classroom. There is important information about deadlines for mandatory paperwork, details about the Job Skills Workshop in June and other important career prep details to be streamed through the Career Prep Google Classroom.
