Announcements

  • Students: Veterans Day is TODAY, November 11th, JROTC will honor our Veterans with a ceremony this morning in the PAC.
  • Students: Beginning TOMORROW, November 12th, your focus teacher and classroom will change back to what you had the 1st 6 weeks.
  • Seniors: TOMORROW, November 12th during FOCUS, you can submit nominations for your Class Song, Flower, Colors, and Motto. A link will be available on the library web page. Nominations will be narrowed down to the top 3 in each category. Final voting will take place on November 19th during FOCUS.
  • Students: Are you interested in a career in the military?  Sign up to take the ASVAB test, PHS will administer the test on WEDNESDAY, November 13th.  You may sign up on the link on the PHS webpage or stop by the counseling office to see Mrs. Delgado.
  • Class of 2021: Your class shirts are in, go by Ms. Mendoza Del Bosque’s room 603 before or after school to pick them up.
  • Students: The competition is on! Who will be the winner Mrs. Guajardo, Mrs. Minniear or Mr. Macias?  Which administrator would you like to see ride a tricycle around the school all day?  You get to decide.  Bring food items to the library to donate for the student council/HOSA food drive until November 21st. The administrator with the most items in their box will be the tricycle riding winner!
  • Students: Do you have someone you would like to recognize at PHS?  Here is your chance.  Follow the link on the library website that says student/teacher affirmations.  Fill out the form to give a shout out to either a fellow student or staff member. Those who are recognized will receive a Golden P to place outside their door or students will post theirs in designated hallways.  Help us turn PHS GOLD!
  • Seniors: The cap and gown pictures will be here sooner than you think. The senior boys’ photo session will be on November 19th, and the senior girls’ photo session will be on November 21st. The photographer will provide the cap and gowns.

  • Attention students: We are excited to start a new student-led after school club with the purpose of creating a safe, welcoming, and accepting school environment for all students regardless of their orientation or gender identity. If you are interested, please join the Gay - Straight Alliance club in Ms. Netherton’s room 714. The first meeting will be MONDAY, November 18th after school from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
  • Seniors: The cap and gown pictures will be next week. The senior boys’ photo session will be on TUESDAY, November 19th, and the senior girls’ photo session will be on THURSDAY, November 21st. The photographer will provide the cap and gowns.

  • See the Big E News!!!!!
  • Attention students: We are excited to start a new student-led after school club with the purpose of creating a safe, welcoming, and accepting school environment for all students regardless of their orientation or gender identity. If you are interested, please join the Gay - Straight Alliance club in Ms. Netherton’s room 714. The first meeting will be MONDAY, November 18th after school from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
  • Students: Any Student interested in participating in powerlifting, there will be an informational meeting at 4:30 in the conference room at the football fieldhouse on TUESDAY, November 19th.  This meeting is an opportunity to meet the coaches and ask any questions you might have about the upcoming season.  
  • Students: The Eagle Softball team will be collecting new unwrapped toys to donate to the local VFW’s Toys for Tots event. If you would like to kindly donate to the cause, toys can be dropped off at the Athletic Office, or to Coach Savage at the Elementary/Junior High, Coach Laws at the High School, and Coach Pyssen at the Primary. Your support is greatly appreciated!
