Pleasanton FFA Places in Texas FFA State Career Development Event

Career Development Events (CDEs) build on what is learned in agricultural classes and encourage members to put their knowledge into practice. More than 15,550 students began the statewide tournament in 28 different events which reflect classroom instruction in technical, leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills.


Pleasanton FFA placed two teams in the top 10 at state contest. The Range Plant Identification team placed 6th and team member Lacey Stevens received 10th high point individual. The Agriculture Sales team placed 4th place and team member Kinsley Moore was 1st high point individual overall. Other teams that qualified and competed at state competition were Horse Evaluation, Wool, Floriculture, Farm Business Management, and Nursery Landscape. Team members included:
